For the first time this season, Arsenal’s chances of winning the title have gone over 90%. At 91%, Arsenal fans really can start the celebrations.
Weekend Preview 13 March 2026 – Spurs to go down with Arsenal to win the league

Welcome to the Football4Cast Weekend Preview for Friday 13 March.
Last weekend, Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 1-0, whilst Manchester City drew 2-2 at home to Forest. Is the title finally heading to North London? Arsenal have a tough game against Everton, who have an excellent away record. City are away at an improved West Ham. Meanwhile, at the bottom, things are really heating up. Could Wolves really escape relegation? Are Tottenham heading for a dismal exit from the Premier League? They’re away at Liverpool this weekend, so it’s not looking good.

For the first time this season, Arsenal’s chances of winning the title have gone over 90%. At 91%, Arsenal fans really can start the celebrations. Man City have been disappointing in not taking advantage of a fairly average Arsenal side, who have been sputtering around over the past couple of months. Yet every time Man City got close to hinting at taking the title to the wire, they coughed up a poor result.
For the second year in a row, City are not the City of old. Has Pep really lost his touch? Probably not. It’s just that everyone in the league is getting a lot stronger and technically proficient, so it is harder than ever to dominate matches in the same way. But anyway, that’s for another day.
What the Bookies Think

The bookies are not so ebullient as F4C, so watch out for value at 1.3+ on Arsenal and steer clear of Man City unless they offer very long odds of 12.5+.
The Relegation Dogfight

Quite possibly of more interest is what is happening at the bottom of the table.
Despite seeing vast improvement in recent months, Wolves’ task was just too big, and they are still certain to go down. Similarly, Burnley will join them, which leaves one place up for grabs between West Ham, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham.
West Ham are improving and have closed the gap, and are now level on points with Forest. A sharp fall from grace from challenging for the Champions League last season to fighting relegation this year. However, there is good news for both West Ham and Forest: Spurs are in freefall and imploding. They have the classic look of a team too big to go down, who in fact may do so.
Great players on paper, key injuries, no team cohesion, and no clear plan of play to emerge from the battle in one piece. Bookies are still reluctant to back them to go down, so there is value in the market currently. Just one point above the Hammers, it’s looking bleak for Tottenham.
This Weekend’s Premier League Fixtures

Standout matches this weekend include West Ham v Man City on Saturday evening. With West Ham desperate for points and Man City desperate to keep the title fight going for at least one more week—but coming off the back of a 3-0 defeat away at Real Madrid, it should be interesting to see if Man City can bounce back, whether they have the motivation to keep up the fight, or if West Ham’s desperation will give them the edge.
Earlier on Saturday, Arsenal face Everton. Despite Everton’s good away record, we can’t see anything other than an Arsenal victory. As mentioned, Spurs head to Anfield, in what promises to be another difficult day for Igor Tudor. Brentford host Manchester United in a game between two clubs scrapping for European competition, with United wanting desperately to get back into Europe.
Scotland (because it is very exciting)

Hearts keep up their lead at the top of the table and have a five point lead over Celtic. Rangers missed out in the Old Firm derby to close the gap, and so with a five-point lead, only Celtic can stop Hearts in Scotland.

Hearts only have a 58% chance of winning the league, so Celtic still has a possibility of winning at 30%. Everything will come down to when the league splits in five more matches, and then the top six play each other. Celtic still very much has a chance to win.

Top Tip of the Weekend

Surprisingly, Celtic are underpriced for a home game against Motherwell. It’s tight, but look for value at 1.67.+.
